SEALS held a series of sessions by research deans. At the start of SEALS, we held a panel exploring the relative merits of law review articles versus monographs. Thanks for a provocative discussion by Professors Huyen Pham, Texas A&M Law; Ronald Krotoszynski Alabama Law; Professor Ryan Stoa, Southern Law; Paul Gowder, Northwestern Law; Professor Jacob Eisler, FSU Law. In a mid-week session, Exploring the Best Ways to Promote Scholarship, research deans discussed challenges and successes in advancing research and faculty development. Professor Gowder facilitated the discussion, which included: Professors andré douglas pond cummings Arkansas-Little Rock Law; Olympia Duhart, Nova Law; Eve Hanan, UNLV Law; Ronald Krotoszynski, Alabama Law; Huyen Pham, Texas A&M Law; Marc Roark, Tulsa Law; Caprice Roberts, LSU Law; Howard M. Wasserman, FIU Law. For a final foray in this workshop, Professor Kelli Alces Williams, FSU Law, led a conversation with recent journal editors including Kate Weaver, Duke Law; Cara Campbell, FSU Law; Lauren Chambliss, Alabama Law; David DeKold, Louisville Law.
